I was fortunate
once again to be able to interact with my sea lion buddies at Anacapa
Island. Captain Ted of the dive boat "Spectre" knew just where to find
them. As we approached the enthusiastic group of about 30 young sea
lions, he played the diver recall siren on an underwater speaker, and
they came running. What a blast they were! Like a herd of puppy
dogs, wondering what these silly humans were doing underwater.
