Urgetosubmerge.net is now using 720p HD video

This is a video I shot at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, CA a few months ago. I was fortunate enough to catch these sea horses doing the love dance. Right place-right time I guess. I shot some more footage the same day using the Sony underwater housing in the touch pools behind the aquarium, and I will be posting the test clips soon.

It was my first field test of my new Sony DSC-TX1 camera, and my first new video footage posted to this site in over 2 years.  My trusty Fuji F-10 which was used for this website has been retired to "backup camera" status, and I will be concentrating on HD video with my new camera. I feel that brings a more "immersive" (pardon the pun) experience for my viewers.

I went diving about a month ago to Anacapa Island, and I got some good footage of my sea lion buddies, nudibranchs, kelpfish, horn shark and more. Look forward to some new footage soon, as well as a new nature site with my animal and nature photos. :-)
